Mini Conveyors
Date:10-10-2024
Mini conveyor belt systems provide efficient solutions for managing limited space or transporting small, delicate parts. These compact systems are often integrated directly into machines or work cells, ideal for environments where space is tight, and small parts need to be moved safely. In such scenarios, dedicating space to large, bulky conveyors is unnecessary. Mini conveyors maximize available production space, allowing for more streamlined workflows. Mini Conveyor products include the Low Profile (LP) Series and the ready-to-run Lite Series, both designed for compact, efficient use.
A wide range of options and accessories enables customization of mini conveyor setups to meet specific requirements. These ready-to-use conveyors come with built-in drive packages and offer choices in motor voltage, belt type, drive mount position, and other conveyor options. Accessories include guides and rails, part stops, couplers and drive shafts (LP Series), product indexing timers, guide cushions, mounting brackets, and conveyor stands.
What is a Mini Conveyor?
Mini conveyors, also known by various names like micro conveyors, mini belt conveyors, and small conveyor systems, are designed for confined spaces or handling small or sensitive products. Regardless of the terminology, these conveyors serve the same purpose — offering compact solutions for intricate production environments.
Typical Size Range for Mini Conveyors
At Mini-Mover Conveyors, we customize each mini conveyor to fit specific needs, focusing on narrow widths, short lengths, and low profiles. Our smallest conveyor is 1 inch wide by 6 inches long, with a profile height of 1.5 inches. Typically, customers prefer sizes starting from 12 inches in length, with widths ranging up to 16 inches. Our largest standard conveyor is 16 inches wide by 144 inches long, though we offer extended lengths for custom orders.
Are Mini Conveyors Versatile?
Absolutely! Mini conveyors are highly versatile and can be tailored for a variety of industries. They are often integrated into CNC machines, capping and labeling systems, vibratory feeders, stamping presses, cleanroom labs, and more. Many customers use our mini conveyors on tabletops or pair them with stands for added mobility.
Can Mini Conveyors Handle Constant Use?
Despite their small size, Mini-Mover Conveyors are built for industrial use and can handle loads up to 150 lbs., depending on the size and gearmotor. Constructed from solid aluminum and assembled using “I” beam construction, they are incredibly strong and durable, designed for daily or continuous operation over years. Additionally, their construction allows for great flexibility in width selection, ensuring they meet various production needs.
